Unlike other storage software vendors we do not to sell our own branded storage appliance. As a result, we can focus exclusively on developing, selling and supporting world-class storage management software. Additionally, Open-E has a deep compatibility list for system integrators to choose from featuring over 500 products from nearly 30 vendors.

Argos was founded 1990 by Ralph Girod and Ofer D. Schneid. The international operating company is located close to the Stuttgart Airport in the south of Germany. Development of Software for media solutions, system sales and support are the areas, where the company has gained the reputation in the industry. The fields of experience are: storage systems, client server technologies, network solutions, database, hosting, and CMS systems. Since 1995 Argos is the official distributor of Applied Graphics Technologies for Europe and supports e.g. large image management systems installations at Axel Springer and DaimlerChrysler.
